During a recent wander around West Quay I found myself in H&M, where I discovered that they have their own magazine! Now I realise I may be way behind the times with this discovery, but I had no idea this was the case. Naturally, I grabbed one to have a flick through and evaluate and boy, was I impressed.
I definitely did not expect such a high standard for the publication, and was blown away by the luxurious feel. Initially I have to admit I wasnt holding out much hope of it being outstanding, as H&M is a 'budget brand'. Their magazine, however, has the feel and tone of an incredibly high end company and is a genuine credit to the people responsible for it. Gorgeous, luxe large scale photography give it the feel of a high end lookbook, whilst topical well written content with beautifully chosen language make the whole thing a thoroughly enjoyable read. The super glossy high quality pages also add to the luxury, and I finished it wishing it would go on forever. I will definitely be hunting down more copies of the magazine in the future, and recommend you all do the same - you wont be dissapointed.
